In this video we look at various lifts to handstand incorporated into a circuit that the gymnasts goes through in their daily conditioning programme.
We see Str body bent arm to handstand, bent body bent arm press to handstand, Pike press to handstand with straight arms, ‘L’ lever straddle press to handstand followed by a lower into Straddle top planch.
These lifts can put into any circuit like this or similar and also lightly supported if the gymnast is not strong enough to complete it on their own.
Our press to handstands are so important when talking about not only P-bars but also Rings, Floor and Pommel for handstand type skills.
